My condolences to the family.
Bob was one of my fraternity brothers at Delta Delta Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity. (although he attended Penn State about a decade before I did).
We served together as officers of the Alumni Board of Directors for Delta Delta for a couple of years back in the 90's (as I recall). He was a great person and exemplified the attributes of a Knight in Legion of Honor (as members of Sigma Nu are identified). Love, Honor, and Truth. I'm sure that when he got to the gate...he found out that St. Pete is also a Sigma Nu (as the lyrics of one of our fraternity songs went?). :(

Dear Judy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I happened to be looking for information on services for a friend, and saw that your dad had passed. Although we haven't spoken since graduating from high school, I have such fond memories of spending time with you and your family (at your home, and at your place in LBI). I have such happy memories of spending time with your family. I remember your dad driving all of us down to LBI to help open up their house for the summer, and how he laughed at how giddy we got when we found out there were 4 teenage boys renting the first floor of the house. And I also remember being at your house when a bat came into the house. Your dad was so funny, I remember we all had to put on our protective bat gear (raincoats and hats), and he gave us all "weapons" to try to get the bat.... a frying pan, a tennis racquet, rolled up newspapers. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Your family was always so welcoming to me, and I still have such wonderful memories of those days. I am very sorry for your loss, and hope you are all doing okay. Please feel free to reach out at any time. You are all in my thoughts. Julie (Whitehead) Pruznick

We have lost a good friend of many years. Thinking back to the Honecker's 4th of July picnic when Bob saw all the fun that we were having in the pool, took off his shoes and jumped in clothes and all! So lucky to have so many good friends over the years. We will miss you Bob.
