Obituary of Janet E Coleman

Janet E Coleman, 76, of Washington, NJ passed away suddenly on July 4, 2015. She was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on April 8, 1939 to the late Gilbert and Gladys Vannatta. Janet was a lifelong resident of Washington. She was a graduate of Washington High School, class of 1957. She was employed as a salesperson for many years at Sears and Roebuck Co in Washington. She was a member of the Washington Methodist Church. Janet loved to go to auctions. She was a regular at many and known by all there. She particularly loved to collect costume jewelry. In her younger years she loved riding motorcycles. Janet had many friends and she enjoyed spending time with them. Above all she loved her family and will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her loving daughter, Alice Coleman of Washington, a son Gilbert and his companion Cathy Difinis of Virginia. Her devoted companion Francis DiDomizio of 35 years, two grandchildren, Mark and Dale Cryan. And her faithful companion, Miss Jiggs her Boston terrier. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ.
