Wilma Outersky, 82, of Flemington, NJ, died on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Independence Manor. Born: On July 14, 1926 in Rotterdam, Holland, she was a daughter of the late Jan and Cornelia Van Aalst Sies. Personal: Her husband, William, died in 1975. Wilma retired as Chief Deputy in 1991 after 31 years at the Edna Mahn Correctional Facility for Women in Clinton, NJ. She was the first woman in New Jersey to hold this title. She was a previous resident of High Bridge, NJ. She graduated from Trenton State College. She enjoyed sailing and gardening. Survivors: She is survived by four daughters, Kathy Bonem and her husband, Sy of Parkland, Florida, Sandy Fisher and her husband, Bill of Hackettstown, NJ, Bonnie Moretti and her husband, Lou of Chester, Connecticut, and Susan Pyle and her husband, Richard of Asbury, NJ; a son, William of Orlando, Florida; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m., and again from 7 to 9 p.m. in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Lincolnville, Maine. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home. To send an online condolence, please visit .
