I am so sorry for your loss. Tom and I grew up in attending St. Peters together, Cub Scouts, and played football at Washington High. He was number "44" and a lineman.
Tommy was a real congenial kid, and we always hit it off. Lost track of him after high school, as is so often the case. Sounds like he had a very interesting and successful life. Even after all these years, when reading of his passing, a part of me seems to have been taken away. God Bless you all in dealing with your grief.

Tom, Reverend Al and I grew up together, we played football together, went in the Marine Corp together and with God’s grace we all came home. For a brief period of time we all worked together at BASF, with Al leaving us to become a minister, Tom and I stayed with BASF. Tom became my boss. With the deepest of sympathy to Betty, Gina, JoAnn, Dennis and families. I have lost a great friend, Semper Fi, buddy. Don & Liz

Betty, Words cannot express how saddened I am to hear about Tom’s passing. My condolences to you and the family. As you know, I was Tom’s HR person at the Washington site for many years. He certainly taught me the ropes of running a Chemical plant. I always felt safe knowing that the “Washington guys” were at work. He spoke so fondly of you over the years and I was so happy to have gotten to meet you at his retirement party. You were definitely the love of his life. I can only say that I hope your memories provide you some comfort during this difficult time and beyond. Tom will stay alive in the memories of all those who knew him, for as long as we are alive....I have many wonderful memories of him.
Again, I am so sorry. Mr. Tom, as I called him, was a wonderful and caring man.
May he RIP. Miss Deb
