Obituary of Dennis Paul Bauer
Dennis Paul Bauer, 67, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully after a long illness on October 17, 2019 with his caring family by his side at Morristown Hospital.
Dennis was born in Morristown, NJ on April 3, 1952 to the late William and Annette Bauer of New Vernon, NJ.
Dennis graduated from Morristown high school class of 1969. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for R&R Construction for more than 27 years until his retirement in 2013. Dennis was a family man who enjoyed playing golf and being with and helping out his friends. He was a NY Mets and NY Jets fan. He was also a member of the Men's auxiliary at the VFW in Washington.
He is survived by his loving family, Shirley and Christine Ann Bauer. A sister, DoreeAnn Bauer; Brother, Jeffrey W. Bauer and his Sister-in-Law, Kathleen Bauer; In addition to his parents Dennis was preceded in death by a brother, William J. Bauer Jr.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday October 24, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 25, 2019 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. 200 Carlton Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dennis's name to Eleventh Hour Rescue, PO Box 218, Rockaway, NJ 07866, https://www.ehrdogs.org.
