Obituary of Lorraine Walldorf

Lorraine Loretta Walldorf, Belvidere, NJ

On Friday, August 16, 2019, Lorraine Loretta Walldorf, loving wife and mother passed away at age 83. Lorraine was born in Brooklyn New York on October 24, 1935 to Alfred and Agnes (Murphy) DeFanis.

Lorraine was a dynamic woman, who owned several successful businesses over the years in the food and fashion industries.  Lorraine loved to entertain family and friends; she was an excellent cook and gracious host. She also loved the beach and had owned several homes in Ocean City (NJ). 

Lorraine is survived by her three children; Michele Fryauff (Steve), Ralph A. Pocchia (Kathleen), Patricia Cowley (Duane) and two stepchildren Karl Walldorf (Sarah) and Lynn Walldorf Steffenburg (Eric).  She also has been blessed with eight grandsons and ten great-grandchildren. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, sister Genevieve and husband, Karl Walldorf. 

A Memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, September 8th.  Visitation hours will be 3-4PM, followed by a service at 4pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.
