Obituary of Rose L Bashall

Rose L. Bashall, 86, of Washington Township, NJ (formally of Bloomfield, NJ) passed away peacefully on July 14, 2019 at home with her loving family by her side.

Rose was born on December 31, 1932 in Glen Ridge, NJ to the late Alexander and Gertrude Funicelli.

Rose was a graduate of Orange High School.  She married the love of her life Robert Bashall in 1950. They celebrated 50 years of marriage until his passing in 2000.  Rose was a home maker however was also known to be able to do and fix just about anything and worked with her husband for his screw machine business, R. Bashall Machine Products in Orange, NJ She enjoyed cooking, especially lasagna.  She was an animal lover, particularly dogs.  She avidly watched old movies on Turner Classic Movies channel.   She will be sadly missed.

Rose is survived by her loving children, Richard Bashall and his wife Monica, Roger Bashall and his wife Clara, Roxann Bashall, Steven Bashall and Sandra Schwalb and her husband Robert.  9 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  2 siblings, a brother Alexander Funicelli and a sister Mary Acquadro .  In addition to her parents and husband Robert, she is preceded in death by her brother Stanley Funicelli

Family and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Rosedale Cemetery, 408 Orange Road, Montclair, NJ 07042
