Obituary of Richard Manuel Titus

Richard M. Titus, Jr., 58 of Raeford, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. 

He was the son of Richard and Patricia Dalrymple Titus.  Rich was born March 6, 1961 in Easton, PA.  He was a graduate of Belvidere High School Class of 1979.  He proudly served in the United States Army Engineers for 23 years.  During his military career he served in Korea, Panama, Somalia, Kuwait, and Desert Storm.  He earned the rank of Sergeant First Class prior to his retirement in 2002. He was a life member of the Belvidere American legion Post 131 and a life member of the VFW Washington, NJ Post.  Rich was an avid cyclist.  He was a sports fan, always routing for the NJ Devils and the Dallas Cowboys.  He will be sadly missed.

 

In addition to his parents Richard and Patricia Titus Sr., he is survived by his devoted wife, Isabel Titus; loving children, daughters, Maria Salaam and her husband Maurice, Samantha Pierce; sons, Richard M. Titus III;  3 grandchildren, Joy and Keira Pierce and Karen Titus; siblings, Joannie Meyn, Randy Titus, Jeff Titus, Cindy Korosec  and her husband Jack and Wendy Titus;  and many nieces and nephews.

 

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 9-11:00 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.  Funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 11:00 in the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Hazen Cemetery in Belvidere.
