Please accept my sympathy for the death of your dear Mr. Egan. Your heavenly Father shares the loss also (Ezekiel 18:32). He has wonderful plans for his future (Hosea 13:14; Revelation 21:3-5). Here is the link to a short video about the hope for our dead loved ones that has helped me over the years: https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=share&prefer=content&applanguage=E&locale=en&item=pub-imv_4_VIDEO&docid=1011214. I sincerely hope it will benefit you as well. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Psalm 37:11, 29; Philippians 4:6-7.

Bob and I have been good friends for 15 years, He saw my spay/neuter cat magnets on my car and knocked on my window. We got to chatting about his diabetic cat and his absolute love of cats. He volunteered at our bake sales and would post flyers for cats that needed a home. Over the years a few of his cats passed away (as did some of mine) and we grieved together each and every time. My cats knew him as "Uncle Bob," who would bring cat treats, and also peanuts for squirrels, bread for birds and lots of paper towels! He knew that cat rescuers use lots of paper towels! Bob never visited us empty-handed and we thanked him with home-cooked meals. He never failed to mail a Thank You note even though we said that it was not necessary. We spent many holidays at the dinner table and would keep in touch at least a couple of times a week, even if we just played phone tag. I will miss Bob's visits on Saturdays before his trip to read at the library. His recent cat "Angel Baby" is with us now and she will grieve for him, and eventually learn to love us as she loved him. Bob is in heaven now with his friends and all of his cats that he loved so dearly. Rest in Peace, my dear friend.

I was sad to read of Bob's passing. I got to know Bob from being one of my customers at the Oxford post office. We would get to talking at the counter at times and found we had a mutual interest in cats. Bob was somewhat a bear of a man in size but no cat could ever have had a better friend and advocate. Even after I retired he would send newsletters of interest regarding cats to my wife and me as we had met him together one time at a local grocery store in where else, but the pet food aisle.
He shall be greatly missed. Our heartfelt condolences to the family.
In sympathy,

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear Mr. Egan. The God of heavens shares your loss (Ezekiel 18:32). He promises to return him to life again (Hosea 13:14). He will be young and in perfect health (Job 33:25). Jesus taught us to pray for that wonderful future at Matthew 6:9-10. The free website, JW.ORG, has been my guide to Bible verses on comfort and hope over the years. It is my sincere wish that you will find it useful as well. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. Philippians 4:6-7. Psalm 37:11, 29.
