Obituary of Alice Respass

Alice C. Respass, 91, of White Township, NJ passed away peacefully in Dover, NJ on September 29, 2018. Alice was born on January 14, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Frederick and Alice Erlink. Alice was a graduate of Kensington Girls High School Class of 1945. She married Lester Benson and together had 2 children. She was employed as a Bank Teller for Philadelphia National Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. She worked closely with her husband in their storm window business until his passing in 1988. Alice met and married her 2nd husband Robert Respass. She retired in 1992 and together enjoyed retirement at the beach at Lewes DE until his passing in 2004. Alice moved to NJ to be closer to her children in 2015. She was of the Lutheran faith. Alice enjoyed traveling, gardening, sewing, the beach and ocean. She enjoyed her family and her pets immensely. She was animal lover, especially dogs and cats. Her favorite pet being the family dog "Puff" when her children were young. Alice is survived by her loving children, her son, Paul Benson and her daughter, Catherine Ekeland and her husband Raymond. Her step-son Jerry Benson and step-daughter Letty Percifield and her nephew Paul Erlink and his wife Kelly and great-niece Emily Erlink. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 1st husband Lester Benson and her 2nd husband Robert Respass and her brother Paul Erlink. A Memorial service celebrating Alice's life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's name to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W.
