Obituary of Robert P Thompson

Robert P. Thompson, 91, of White Township passed away peacefully on February 14, 2018 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ.

Robert was born in Ocean Grove, NJ on September 16, 1926 to the late Albert and Ethel Thompson.

Robert attended Blair Academy. His loving wife, Gloria, preceded him in death in 2012. Throughout Robert's many years, he ran his family's dairy farm, owned a business manufacturing horse trailers, and worked for the Warren County Road Department before his retirement in 2001. Though he enjoyed numerous hobbies, including flying and tinkering with his planes, he enjoyed none more than spending time with his beloved family.

Robert is survived by his children, sons, Robert W. Thompson and his wife Joan, Tommy Thompson, John W. Thompson and his wife Roxanne; daughters, Kristi Murphy and her husband Frank and Jodi Blanche and her husband Frank; siblings Evelyn Kulich and her husband Walt; his seven cherished grandchildren, Misti Linaberry and her husband Jason Lee, Thomas Savary, Robert Savary, William Thompson and his wife Amelia, Tom Thompson and his wife Kelly, Jamie Boesch and her husband Michael, Michael Thompson and wife Camee. He also leaves behind 13 treasured great-grandchildren and one very loved dog, Zoey. In addition to his wife, Gloria, he is preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Kitty Thompson, his sisters, Edith Lindbergh and Edna Walker and a brother Stanley Thompson.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
