Mickey was born on August 10, 1949 in Glen Gardner, NJ to the late Earl and Frances McCormick.
Mickey graduated from North Hunterdon High School, class of 1967. Mickey proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Signalman during the Vietnam War era. He was extremely talented at his craft and sought after by many for their hardwood flooring needs. Over the years Mickey enjoyed coaching and watching his sons play sports, and going on fishing trips with his friends and family in Canada. Mickey was an avid fan of the New York Giants and of Villanova Basketball. Mickey took great pride in maintaining his home, and treasured the times spent there with family. Mickey was never without a story to share. Above all he was a family man; a devoted husband, loving father, and proud "Pop-Pop."
