Obituary of Kenneth J Duckworth

Kenneth J. Duckworth Sr. 84, a lifelong resident of Harmony, NJ passed away at home with his loving family by his side on June 7, 2017.

Ken was born on the family farm in Harmony, NJ on December 29, 1932 to the late Carl and Evelyn Duckworth.

Ken graduated from Belvidere high school class of 1950. He was a farmer most of his life working on the Duckworth family farm. He also worked for M&M Mars in Hackettstown and was a part time grounds keeper at Harker's Hollow Golf Club. Ken enjoyed carpentry work in his spare time. He also was a fan of the M&M NASCAR car.

He is survived by a daughter Karen Giovarelli and her husband Lee. A son Kenneth Duckworth Jr. and his wife Lisa. A sister Geraldine Vliet. Brothers Carl Duckworth Jr, Richard Duckworth and Donald Duckworth. 4 Grandchildren Lee Giovarelli, John, Jimmy and Joseph Duckworth and 3 Great grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his loving wife Shirley. A Brother Robert and a sister Jane Duckworth.

Funeral services and committal services are private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ken's name to Compassus Hospice, 45 Eisenhower Dr. Paramus, NJ 07652.
