Obituary of Dale Antonio Cordova

Dale Antonio Cordova, 82, formerly of Penwell, NJ passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017 at Country Meadows Retirement Community in Forks, PA. Dale was born in Staten Island, NY on September 25, 1934 to the late Joseph and Mary Cordova. Dale graduated from New Dorp high school in Staten Island. He served proudly in the US Army stationed in Massachusetts during the Cold War. He work at Newark Airport for over 50 years as a Ground Supervisor for American Airlines retiring after 30 years and then for Hertz Car Rentals as an Agent Supervisor for 20 years. Dale enjoyed the outdoors and was known as a kind hearted man. He cherished time spent with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Dale is survived by his sons Paul Cordova, Greg Cordova and his wife Cornelia. Sisters Fedalia Gardiner and Genevieve Simmons and a grandson Carl Cordova. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday April 19, 2017 from 2-7 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of the Mountain Catholic Church. 2 East Springtown Road. Long Valley, NJ 07853. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dale's name to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057.
