Obituary of Beulah Edith Apgar
Beulah Edith (Kinney) Apgar, 99, has passed away in her home on Monday, February 13, 2017.
Beulah was celebrated as the oldest member of the Asbury Methodist Church. She was a President of Asbury PTA, member of the Eastern Star, Grange and the Young Ladies ssociation. Beulah enjoyed homemaking and was a constant prize winner for her baking and canning skills. She enjoyed playing pinochle in her card club for many years. Beulah had been employed by the Washington Diner and Asbury Nursing Home. She had enormous beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. Beulah loved her family, home,farm and gardens. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Beulah is survived by a sister Lois Jean (Kinney) Blackwood, a daughter Gloria (Apgar)Weaver; her grandchildren Lori (Weaver) Lovelace, Janis Weaver and Jeffrey Weaver and wife Carla; her great grandchildren David Lovelace, Matthew Weaver, Krista Garland and Kayla Garland; a niece Joanne (Kinney) Wolf, who was one of her "3 little girls", a nephew Roger Fournier in addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins; her devoted and loving caretaker Madona Jorjoladze. She is predeceased by her husband of 58 years Preston Apgar, her son Preston I Apgar, Jr., her parents Earl and Edith (Baylor) Kinney, her step father Henry Renner, her siblings Lloyd Earl Kinney and Mildred (Kinney) Fournier.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a 12 pm service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
