Our deepest sympathy to Barry’s loving ladies. A loving husband, wonderful father, and proud grandfather we celebrate his life forever. We remember his smiling face and how much he loves to help people with his big heart. As he watches over us, B-Man will always remain here with us. Barry is a true American who served our country with dignity, loyalty, and respect. We have fond memories of him at many gatherings. Barry has always been a true friend to us. My deepest condolences to Barry's family. I knew and served with him in the New Jersey Army National Guard and like so many others, knew him truly as one of the really "good guys". How he loved to have fun but always got the job done first and cared about the many soldiers with whom he served. I will miss him but so glad I had the opportunity to know & serve with him.

It is with sadness that I express my condolences to the Maloney family. I met Barry in Woodbridge in 1985. From that time until our paths went separate ways Barry was a mentor, teacher, and friend. I will always cherish the memories I have of him and truly feel that the world is a brighter place because of him. Until we meet again...

A great mentor, he made you want to succeed for him. Nothing could be worse than to be on his bad side but once on his good side all was always forgotten and there was a friendship and mentorship that was unmatched by any. May he rest in Peace and may you find calm knowing that he is a great place above. God bless.

It was my pleasure and a privilege to know Barry, and to have served with him for many, many years. I was an Officer Candidate School classmate (NJMA Class 18), accepting our commissions together in 1975. Barry was a man's man and a soldier's soldier. We shall not see the likes of Barry again for a long time. My deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the entire Maloney family. Prayers to ease your grief. May God rest Barry's soul and hold him safe in the palm of His hand.

To the family of "Barry" Maloney.......... I am proud to say that I knew him for over 25 years. I've always thought of him as a real "Mench", and though we didn't see eye to eye on everything, I think he was a good, and true man. I asked him a while back when he first got sick about the two of having "Cancer"..... We, also in the conversation stated that the two of us were just to darn Ornery to die.......... In retrospect, I guess he wasn't as bad as I was....... I'm very sorry for your loss.........I'm very sorry for his loss to humanity, and most of all you should know that a lot of people will keep him near and dear in their hearts, and he will never be forgotten in my lifetime, nor the lifetime of his children, or his childrens' children. I'm far from a religious person, but I will always think of him in a good way, for it's the only way I really knew him........even when we were pissed at each other. I knew it was business, and nothing else. G-d bless the Maloney family, and may they live on forever......
Thank you for your time............

Served with Barry full time, for many years in the NJ National Guard. Barry and I would often commiserate of the difficulties associated with our assignments as AO's (Administrative Officers) but he always exceeded expectations despite the challenges. He was a excellent officer and will be sorely missed.
God bless his soul and his family.

LTC "Barry" Maloney was a good friend and mentor ever since our career paths first crossed in 1991 when I was assigned to the armory at Bound Brook. He had a positive effect on my career many times, for which I am eternally grateful.

I have many fond memories of Barry and the entire Maloney family. We all grew up together in Rahway and Barry was always a big brother figure for those of us that were just a couple years younger. We spent plenty of time fishing and enjoying Milton Lake and all it had to offer. I had the pleasure of fishing with Barry and brother Bruce when they visited Montana a couple years ago. The world lost a good man in Barry. His memory will not fade fast. May he rest in peace.
