Obituary of Wesley Rosamilia
Wesley Rosamilia, 89, of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on July 30, 2016 at home with his family by his side.
Born on January 2, 1927 in Newark, NJ to the late Michael and Rose Rosamilia.
Wesley proudly served his country in the United States Navy during WWII enlisting when he was just 16 years of age. Upon his return, he met and married the love of his life Ann. They raised a family together and previously lived in Union and Bloomfield until her passing in 1996. Wesley was employed as a carpenter working for Essex County Parks until his retirement in 1992. He was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City and playing the lottery. He loved his family and their times spent together. He will be sadly missed.
Wesley is survived by his loving children, 2 daughters, Elizabeth Rosamilia and her husband Salvatore and Roseann Palumbo. A son, Michael Rosamilia, a sister Evelyn Guminski, a brother Richard Rosamilia. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Ann.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, NJ 07031
