Obituary of Debra Planer

Debra Planer, 60, of Sparta, NJ passed away on May 31, 2016 at home. Born on June 25, 1955 in Northampton, PA to Fred Planer and the late Nina “Earhart” Planer. Debra grew up in Hope and graduated from Belvidere high school class of 1973. She was formerly of Washington and Sparta, She earned a degree in fine arts from Northland College. She was an artist by trade and was skilled at photography, woodworking, and working with her hands. She enjoyed kayaking and music. Debra loved spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving daughter Jamie Graba and her husband Colt; her father Fred Planer; A brother Rick Planer, and half-sisters Elizabeth and Eleanor Planer and 4 grandchildren Gage, Tannah, Shane and Alden. She was preceded in death by her mother Nina Planer. A memorial picnic will be held on June 18, 2016 from 12-5 PM at the Oxford Furnace Lake.
