I was sad to see this. I remember Mrs. Kuzma, she was a "staple" around Washington for as long as I can remember. She and my Mom, Florence Maupai were involved in many of the same activities through St. Josephs, etc. Brings back many good memories, like how on Sunday mornings as kids you would see the familiar families all file into the little white church on Belvidere Ave. Such a different time, such a safe feeling as a child. Sad to think so much time has elapsed since those innocent days of our youth, and how many friends and family have passed on. I loved living in Washngton, and being from Brass Castle and am thankful for my memories of the Kuzma family and all of the other families. Maybe Florence Griffin, who passed quite recently, is waiting in the wings for Nancy to join her and my Mom (who would have turned 87 today, September 9). A Senior Altar Rosary Society in Heaven. My condolences to the Kuzma family.
