Marie Froehlich, 88, of Palm Coast, Fl, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 in Flagler Hospital, Palm Coast, Fl. Born: On August 14, 1916 in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Balthaser and Elizabeth Strauch. Personal: Her loving husband, Edward, died in 1979. She was a homemaker. A previous resident of Washington, NJ, Marie has lived in Florida for 17 years. Memberships: She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Washington. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Rizzo of Newark, NJ; two sons, Edward of Palm Coast, Fl, Kenneth of Arizona; a brother, Al Strauch of Iselin, NJ; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services: Funeral services will be on Monday at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor James Scovell officiating at the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. Order of the Eastern Star service will be at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
