Whenever I think about Mr. Housman I always imagine his voice when he would say hello when I came over - always in the middle of fixing something, mowing the lawn, or playing solitaire. The way he said it made me wonder if he was remembering all the times I was a tyrant playing with Aleasha as a kid, and it makes me laugh just thinking about it. My parents remember him fondly as a good man who was always at the bus stop waiting for Aleasha and Payton, and he will continue to be a role model for myself in terms of how he lived his life willing to help others even at the most inopportune times. He will always be the Davy Crockett of Halfway House Rd to me. All our love - Lizzy and the Hissim Family
