Obituary of Adam Van Buskirk

Adam Clark Van Buskirk 90, of Mansfield Township passed away peacefully on April 27, 2015 at Warren Haven nursing home. Born on October 7, 1924 in Mt. Pocono, PA to the late Lewis and Gertrude (Krummel) Van Buskirk. Formerly of Washington and Penwell, NJ. Adam graduated from Girard College class of 1942. He was employed by Celonese Corp in Belvidere for many years before his retirement in 1965. Adams loving wife Mildred passed away in 1987. He was of Methodist faith and enjoyed Bingo, working in his yard and gardening. He is survived by his loving daughter Elsie Zabriskie and her husband Albert. Grandchildren; Albert Jr and companion Heather, David, Jeffery and wife Inger, and Michael and wife Amie. Great Grandson Dayton. In addition to his wife Adam was preceded in death by a brother Robert Van Buskirk. Services: friends and family may pay their respects on Friday May 1, 2015 from 10 AM -12 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be celebrated immediately following at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Washington Cemetery.
