Obituary of Anthony W. Turyonas, Jr.

HAMPTON, NJ- Anthony "Skip" W. Turyonas, Jr.,58, a lifelong resident of Hampton, NJ, passed suddenly on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Born in Flemington, NJ on June 26, 1956 to Lois (Bowlby) and the late Anthony Turyonas, Sr. Skip graduated from North Hunterdon High School, Class of 1974. He was employed for 34 years at the Bemis Company previously of Flemington, NJ. Skip actively participated for 21 seasons as the owner/driver of the "8T" at Flemington Speedway. He was an active pit crew member for Willie Osmun at New Egypt Speedway. Skip also enjoyed snowmobiling in upstate New York. He is survived by his beloved Rosalind Davis of 22 years of Clinton; his mother Lois J. Turyonas of Hampton and his brother William A. Turyonas of Flemington; Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday, February 13, 2015, from 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 14, 2015, 10 AM at the funeral home followed by an 11 AM Funeral Mass at St. Ann's Church in Hampton, NJ. Interment at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anthony's memory to the Flemington Speedway Historical Society, P.O.
