I am so sorry to hear about Joanne. She shared her 'battle' with me during a time when my wife was battling this awful disease. Her sharing her story with me helped me thru my time of despair and grief. I never met her but worked with her, my condolences go out to her family and friends. She is in a better place now, God knows best.

My deepest condolences to Olivia and Joanne's family. I knew Joanne through the cancer center. She was always the model of courage and class. She had a warmth that drew you to her. And how she loved Olivia! Her face would light up when she talked about her beloved daughter. I count myself blessed to have met her.

I am deeply saddened by Joanne's passing. I have worked with Joanne many years and she was one of my closest friends. I was humbled by her ability to be so concerned for others well being even while she was going through so much physical suffering herself. Every time we spoke she would always ask how I was doing. Few people have the ability to reach out to others the way Joanne did when she was going through her own difficult trials. She raised the bar on what it means to show the love of Jesus to others. I do and will miss her greatly. I am consoled to know she is now with the Lord in heaven.

I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Joanne for 10 years. She had the strength, courage and bravery like no one else I know. More importantly she also had compassion like no other. In everything she was going through she would still be concerned and thinking of other people first especially her daughter and mother. I have learned so much from her that she has deeply touched my life and not only was she a fabulous coworker she was also a good friend. Rest in Peace Joanne. You will always be in my thoughts.

Joanne will be missed by many. She was a caring and gracious woman who cared for so many other people. She loved her daughter to the moon and back. She was so proud of Olivia, always talking about her accomplishments.
The AT&T family has lost a great woman. Joanne was the uber project manager, always wanting to do the right thing for the company and projects.

Joanne was a remarkable woman in all aspects of her life. Professionally she set the standard for project management with her ability to lead her teams with proficiency and warmth. I developed a friendship with Joanne that went beyond our work relationship and enjoyed many conversations with her that enriched my life. She was always first concerned with my well being and my family and provided me insight in my life that made me a better person. I held her in high regard for her courage and fortitude as she battled cancer, while caring for her daughter, family and excelling in her work assignments. Joanne was a woman of strong faith in our Lord and lived her life following the example of how Christ wanted us to live and love others. I will certainly miss her and I pray for peace and comfort for all of us who loved and cherished Joanne.

My condolences and sympathy to Joanne's family. It is indeed sad hear this news about her.
It was in the year 2009 when I first talked to her over phone on a project in AT&T when I was working in IBM India. I met her in person in the year 2010 when I traveled to NJ to work with her. She became a good friend of mine even though we had very long age gap within short time period. Even after I quit IBM, we had the messages exchanged on our health and work.
May the almighty give courage to her family and may her soul rest in peace.
Regs,
Kumar

My sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to Joannes family. I became acquainted with Joanne while our offices were close to each other and subsequently we became friends. I always appreciated her compassionate nature and willingness to offer honest advice in many areas of life. She had that calming voice that I can still hear today. I will miss her and our early morning hello's as she was an early bird in the office and the one who started the day off with her infectious smile.

I worked with Joanne the past few years, and got to know her a little bit personally as well. What a wonderful human being. She was truly a pleasure to know. I am truly saddened by her passing and send my prayers and thoughts to her family.

My heart broke when I heard the news about Joanne! It broke for each of you, especially Joanne's daughter, and for you Carmela. I watched my parents go through the loss of a child. Not supposed to happen! I know God has a plan, but it still hurts! Praying for each of you in the coming days, for strength, for comfort, for peace, that only our Savior can provide! I so look forward to the reunion we will all have in Heaven!
With many prayers and much love, Mindy
