Obituary of Ronald A. Meyer
Ronald A. Meyer, 75 a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2014 at home with his family by his side.
Born on January 4, 1939 to the late Elsie and Arthur Meyer. Ronald graduated from Washington High School class of 1957. He was a material handler for American Can prior to his retirement in 2006. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and a social member of the VFW Post 103 in Washington. In his early years, Ronald enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo, traveling to the casino and with a little luck on his side, he also enjoyed frequently purchasing his lottery tickets. He will be remembered as a man who truly enjoyed family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving daughters Denise Fox and husband Joe of Washington and Ronda Considine of Washington. 9 treasured grandchildren Jason Meyer, Amie Klemer, Theresa Sokoloski, Charles Dorn, Allen Van Ness, Joseph Fox, Jr., Holly Van Ness, Stephanie Dorn and Christopher Considine. 14 cherished great grandchildren. Ronald is predeceased by his daughter Robin Dorn who died December 6, 2003.
Viewing will be held Friday, October 17, 2014 from 2 -4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. Funeral services will be private.
