Obituary of Kantikumar Das

Kantikumar Das, 80, passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on March 21, 2010. Born: in Gujarat, India on April 19, 1929, he was a son of the late Prabhudas J. and Edith Das. Personal: He was a resident of Washington Twp., since 1996, he previously lived in Hackettstown and India. Kantikumar was a bank manager at the Union Bank of India for 35 years, retiring in 1988. Kantikumar graduated from Wilson College of Bombay with a B/A in Physics. Kantikumar enjoyed using the computer for educational purposes to expand his knowledge; stay on top of world news and events. He had a love for all music, he learned Spanish from self help books, he enjoyed reading and photography. Survivors: a son, Pankaj Das and his wife Neeta of Washington; a daughter, Chhaya Johnson and her husband Danny of FL; a sister, Vinodini Lall of Mansfield; a brother, Anilkumar Das of India; three grandchildren, Komal, Janak and Joan. His loving Wife of 54 years Shrimati passed in 2009. Services: Visitation will be Wednesday (today) March 24, 2010.
