Obituary of Lee Docker

Lee "Doc" Docker, 79, passed away peacefully at St Claire's Hospital December 7, 2012. Born: December 14, 1932 in Phillipsburg NJ to the late Hayden and Florence Docker. Personal: He was a lifelong resident of Oxford. Lee worked as an accountant for Ford Furniture Store in Washington for 38 years. He was also employed as the business administrator at Oxford Central School. He graduated from Washington High School class of 1950. He graduated from Churchman's Business School in Easton where he earned his accounting degree. He was of Presbyterian faith. He enjoyed flying and was a few hours shy of attaining his private pilots license. He also enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family. Memberships: Lee was a member of the Oxford Lions Club. He was on the board of trustees for the Hill Side Cemetery Association in Oxford. Survivors: She is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jean; a son, Robert Docker of Oxford; three daughters, Linda Ward and her husband, Leslie of Oxford, Cynthia Wiseburn and her husband, Gary of Washington, and Barbara Auch and her husband, Walter of Alabama; a sister, Elsie Mae Docker of Millville, NJ; ten grandchildren, Michael, Jamie, Gregory, Amanda, Dana, Cheryl, Patty, Jessica, William and Jeffrey; seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother, Claude Docker. Services: Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 11 a.m. at Oxford Fire House, 14 Wall Street, James Burns Drive, Oxford, NJ 07863.
