Obituary of Antonius Deja

Anthony Deja, 74, of the Hawk Pointe section of Washington Twp., NJ passed away peacefully at home January 14, 2013. Born: March 9, 1938 in Danzig, Germany to the late Alfonse and Cristal Deja. Personal: Anthony lived in Washington Twp., NJ for nine years. Previous residence was Montville and Plainfield, NJ. Anthony worked as a Communications Engineer at Williams Co, Parsippany, NJ. Retired in 2002. Anthony attended school in Germany and Fairleigh Dickinson University. Anthony had a passion for helping others. He often volunteered for the Warren County Habitat for Humanity and Washington Food Pantry. He loved gardening and walking and spent many hours doing both. Anthony also enjoyed carpentry work and could often be found building or fixing something. Above all Anthony loved his family. He treasured every moment spent with them. He will be sadly missed by all. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Elaine; four daughters, Monique Deja of Boonton, NJ, Wendy Deja of Hillsborough, NJ, Heidi Deja and her husband, Joseph Anthony of Apex, NC, Jennifer Sannazzaro and her husband, Jimmy of Oak Ridge, NJ; a son, Stephan Deja of Towaco, NJ; two grandchildren, Emma and Caden. Services: The Deja family will be welcoming family, friends and neighbors Saturday, January 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. to honor and remember Tony at the Deja residents. Cremation will be private.
