Obituary of Kenneth B. Fowler
Kenneth B. Fowler, 90, of Lexington NC, formerly of Lebanon, NJ, died Friday March 7, 2008 in Lexington Heath Care Center.
Born: September 27, 1917 in Rochelle Park NJ, a son of the late John & Ethel Fowler.
Personal: He and his wife, Elsa were married for 66 years. Kenneth was a supervisor for NJ Division of Fish & Game. He was also self-employed with B & F Contractors and Taylor Wharton. He served as chairmen of the Hunterdon County Democratic Party for many years. He was a lifetime resident of Hunterdon County until 2005 He was on the Lebanon Twp Board of Elections. He was instrumental in organizing the PTA at Lebanon Township Elementary School and served as the first president (1948-1950. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading. Kenneth served in the Navy during World War II from 1942 1946 on the Cruiser USS Birmingham.
Survivors: his loving wife; a son Bobby and his wife Barbara of Lexington, NC; a daughter Donna Ferguson and her husband Nelson of York, PA; four grandchildren Lisa, Jeffery, Robert & D. Matthew & four great grandchildren.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
