Obituary of Robert Fenwick

Robert "Bob" Fenwick, 77, of Glen Gardner, NJ, died on Monday, November 3, 2008 in Doylestown Hospital. Born: On December 23, 1930 in Hampton, NJ, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Margaret Fenwick. Personal: His loving wife, Angie Lusardi Fenwick, died in 1972. He had resided in Glen Gardner for the last 30 years, coming from Hampton. Bob was self-employed as a plumber at R. Fenwick Plumbing & Heating. He graduated from Hampton High School. Bob served proudly in the Army. He was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart for his courage and bravery in battle during the Korean War. His nickname was "Fish" by all who knew him. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The St. Louis Cardinals were his favorite baseball team. Memberships: Bob was an exempt member of Hampton Fire Company and Hampton Emergency Squad. He was a member of VFW in Glen Gardner. Survivors: He is survived by his loving daughter, Maryanne Turner and her husband, Rex of Vienna, Virginia; grandchildren, Lauren and Evan; a brother-in-law, Lou Lusardi, and his best friend and longtime companion, his dog, Buddy. In addition to his wife, Angie, four sisters, Clarice Housman, Jean Subbee, Evelyn Toika, and Alice Johnson, and a brother, Bud Fenwick, all died earlier. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. Firemen and Emergency Squad services will be held at 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, with full Military Honors. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon Township First Aid Squad, P.O.
