Obituary of Joseph J. Brill

Joseph J. Brill Jr., 76, of Washington, NJ, died Thursday, February 8, 2007 at his home peacefully surrounded by his family. Born: On January 30, 1931 in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joseph J., Sr. and Catherine Levi Brill. Personal: He was the husband of the former Marge Myers. Joseph was a sales manager for the former Ward (Tiptop) Bakery from 1953 to 1980 and from 1980 until his retirement in 1993; he was the sales manager for Wonder/Hostess in both Washington and Saddlebrook, NJ. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Memberships: Joseph was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Washington, NJ. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Marge, at home; he is survived by a daughter Marge Seymour and her husband Tim of Washington; a son, Joseph Brill III of Andover, NJ; a brother, Jack Brill of Horsham, Pa; and three grandchildren, Bonita Seymour, Joseph Brill IV, and Jen Brill. Services: Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Warren Hills/Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the church, 200 W. Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ, with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Washington.
