Donald E. Rogers, 78, of Spotswood, N.J., died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, in St. Peters University Hospital, New Brunswick, N.J. Born: October 22, 1925, in Newark, N.J., a son of the late Michael Rogers and Violet Clark. Personal: He and his wife, Lorraine, were married 56 years.Donald served in the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. He was a truck driver at Pecthers Bakery Services in Harrison, N.J. for 20 years.He had lived in Spotswood, N.J. for 12 years, coming from Newark. Survivors: his wife; two daughters, Donna Yarnall of Piscataway, N.J. and Susan Tasi of Whitehouse Station; a son, Donald of Readington Township; two sisters, Doris Borre and Deanna Rogers, both of Newark, N.J.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services: A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday in the Warren Hills / Ford Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, with the Pastor Jerold Scott Sr. officiating.
