Obituary of Anthony M. Ranallo
Anthony M. Ranallo, 64, of Lopatcong, went to be with his eternal father on Thursday, December 23, 2004, in his home.
Born: March 28, 1940, in Bronx, N.Y., a son of the late Pasquale and Lena Zampino Ranallo.
Personal: He and his beloved wife, Maryann Preston Ranallo, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this year. They were married May 30, 1959. He had lived in Lopatcong for the past four years, previously living in Phillipsburg and Washington. He was employed for 20 years as a construction worker for Cayuga Construction Co., New York, N.Y., retiring in 1980. He was an avid fisherman, a devoted N.Y. Yankees fan, and he enjoyed helping others who were less fortunate. He will be forever loved and sadly missed.
Memberships: He was a member of the San Damiano Fraternity, the Teamsters local 731, and a volunteer at the Blue Army Shrine.
Survivors: his wife; four daughters, Gerri Ann Ondrovic of Lehighton, Pa., Dawn Scott, Lena Crosson and Maryann Ranallo, all of Phillipsburg; a son, Joseph P. of Phillipsburg; six sisters, Christina Gallagher of N.C., Phyllis Ranallo and Anna Marie Ranallo, both of Lopatcong, Theresa Lombardo and Denise Cowell, both of Phillipsburg, and Patricia Bush of Milford, N.J.; four brothers, Jerry of Oxford, Charles of Fla., and Carmine and Michael, both of N.Y.; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other loving and caring family members. A brother, Joseph, died in 1968.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 W. Carlton Ave., Washington, with Fr. James Kyrpczak officiating. Visitation will be held 12 to 2 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue, Washington.
