Obituary of Minnie H. Rush

Minnie H. Rush, 101, formerly of the Oxford/Washington area, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the are Center of Brakeley Park, Lopatcong, where she had been a resident for the past 11 years. Born: On June 17, 1903 in Oxford, NJ, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah Hoover Hoffman. Personal: Her first husband, William Paul, passed away in 1965, her second husband, Lester Rush, passed away in 1994. She was a lifetime resident of the Oxford/Washington area. Minnie was a homemaker. Previously, she worked as an aide for the former Washington Nursing Home, Washington, NJ. She also worked for the Washington Township Election Board for many years. Memberships: She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Washington, NJ. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Keenan and her husband, Harold of Easton, Pa; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 36 great great grandchildren; two step-sons; and two step-daughters. A son, William H. Paul, died in 1983, and a daughter, Dorothy Wyckoff, died in 2003. Services: Will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ. Calling hours will be Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Washington Cemetery, Washington, NJ.
