Stanley G. Reedell, 64 died May 22, 2009 peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Born: February 15, 1945 in Newton, NJ, son of the late Harry & Zelda Reedell. Personal: Stanley was a life long resident of Washington. Stanley worked as a N.J Telephone lineman for NJ Bell, Verizon of Netcong and New Village. He was employed for 31 years, retiring in 1998. Stanley graduated from Washington High School class of 1963. Stanley proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1965 - 1967. Stanley loved history. He also could be found in his spare time working on cars and motorcycles, a hobby he truly enjoyed. Memberships: He was a member of the First Presbyterian of Washington Church in Washington. Stanley was a member of the American Legion Post 103 and the VFW Pohatcong Memorial Post 6701. He was a Committee Man for the Boy Scout's and a member of the NJ Telephone Pioneers. Survivors: His loving wife, Christina; two sons, Keith and his wife, Jennifer of Estero, Fl and Scott and his wife, Megan of Feasterville, PA; a brother, Walter and his wife, Patricia of Washington; a sister, Rev. Gerry Reedell of Smithville, NJ; sister-in-law Joanne Jasinski of Easton, PA; four grandchildren, Evan, Aidan, Angela and Elyse; many nieces and a nephew. Services: A funeral service will be held Friday May 29, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in First Presbyterian Church of Washington 40 East Church St., NJ 07882 with Pastor James Scovell officiating. Burial will be private. Memorials: Memorial donations may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA, 01923 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234.
