Evo J. Ersalesi, 85, died Wednesday, October 28, 2009 . Born: On April 2, 19 24, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Ersalesi. Personal: He resided in Port Murray, NJ. Evo Owned and Operated Jersey Farm Fresh of Port Murray. He graduated from Brooklyn Tech and worked as an architect at the Brooklyn Navy Yard until he started his own business in 1952. He served proudly in the Army during World War II. Evo was an avid baseball fan and played softball into his 70s. He enjoyed assembling and finishing furniture Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Joan Ersalesi; a brother Eddie Ersalesi of Oxford; two step-daughters, Rosemary Albanese and her husband Joseph of Verona, NJ, Valarie DeFilipps of Pen Argyl, PA; one niece, Maryann Hagedorn and her husband Bruce of Stroudsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Nicole Olshefski, Joey and Anthony Albanese. He was predeceased in death by his brother Henry Ersalesi and a sister Ada Winston Services: Family and friends are invited to join Evo's family on Sunday November 1, 2009 between 1 & 4 p.m. at the Ersalesi residents in Port Murray. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in Newton, NJ.
