Anthony Blawicki, 94, of Port Murray, passed away July 5, 2010 at the Veterans hospital in East Orange , NJ . Born: February 18, 19 16 in Newark , NJ , he was a son of the late William and Pauline Blawicki. Personal: He was a resident of Port Murray for the past 35 years, previously he resided in Asbury , NJ . Tony was self employed as Landscaper/Chauffeur. Tony served proudly during World War II in the Army Signal Corps from 1941-1945. Tony enjoyed coin collecting, classical music, cooking, gardening, cigars and long drives. He was of Catholic Faith. Survivors: a sister, Helen Fischer of Scottsdale, AZ; a niece, Cynthia Peters and her husband Brian of Ramsey, NJ; two nephews, Walter Mack and his wife Lora of Washington, NJ, Robert Mack and his wife Cheryl of Asbury; three great-nephews, Christopher, Corey and Curt. He was predeceased by his long time companion Alice Barclay, a step-father, Harry Mack, two brothers, Walter Mack and Stanley Bolinski and a sister, Mary Blawicki, and a nephew John Mack. Services: Visitation will be Thursday, July 8, 2010 , family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Services will be Friday, July 9, 2010 , a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. with Fr. Blaise Baran officiating, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 Carlton Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Burial in the St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, Washington, NJ. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, Disabled American Veterans, Warren County Chapter #48, 321 Marshall Street, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
