Obituary of Thomas F. O'Malley

Thomas F. O'Malley, 80, of Belvidere Road in Harmony Township, died at Easton Hospital on May 5, 2010, after a short illness. Personal: A Senior Research Chemist with Sun Chemical Corp. in Carlstadt at the time of his retirement, O'Malley received his education at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute. Two years of service with the Marine Corps Reserve preceded his Korean War service with the Army Counter Intelligence Corps. A long-time resident of Westfield, he moved to Harmony in 2005. Memberships: He was a parishioner of St. Helen's Church. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Sally Curtin O'Malley of Belvidere; four daughters, Cecelia O'Malley Crane of Tewksbury, NJ, Suzanne Macaoay Ferguson of Stewartsville, NJ, Sarah O'Malley McDougall of Hampton, NJ, and Amy O'Malley Pedrotti of Jonesboro, GA; and eight grandchildren, Beth, Zac, Bridget, Miguel, Marion, Aidan, Griffin and Devlin. Services: Funeral services will be held May 12 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, Hampton, NJ. Viewing will be at Warren Hills Memorial Home, Washington, NJ, on May 11 at 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorials: The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Disabled Veterans of America.
