Obituary of George Morris

George Morris 78 of Upper Marlboro, MD formally of Port Murray, NJ passed away peacefully at Manor Care nursing home in Largo, MD on January 18, 2014. Born: George was born on October 23, 1935 in New York, NY to the late George and Rosella King. Personal: George worked as a Mechanic / Locksmith for Hoffman LaRoche in Belvidere for more than twenty years. He was of Catholic faith. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. George was an avid Civil War history buff. He loved reading about the war and visiting the many different Civil War battlefields. Survivors: A sister Florence Adams; two nephews Almadeen Yazid and Anthony Duguid; Nieces,Tonya Williams-Mayo and husband Bruce Mayo,Tonya Bass Hunter,Kathleen Ann Durgam; and many other extended family members. George was predeceased by his wife Marion. Services: Friends and family may call on Thursday January 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave, Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will follow on Thursday January 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Washington Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home.
