Katherine E. Lestuck, 88, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away on June 10, 2008 peacefully at Warren Hospital. Born: On January 30, 1920 in Perth Amboy, NJ, Katherine was a daughter of the late John and Theresa Kerly. Personal: Katherine's loving husband, John, died in 1990. A previous resident of Fords, NJ, she had resided in the Brookfield section of Belvidere for the last six years. Katherine retired in 1983 after 35 years of service as a seamstress for the Lafayette Dress Company, Perth Amboy. She loved to cook and was well known for her banana bread. She also enjoyed sewing. Memberships: Katherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. She was also a member of the United Ladies Garment Workers Union. Survivors: Katherine is survived by a daughter, Joyce Rock of the Brookfield section of Belvidere; a brother, Edward Kerly and his wife, Marilyn of Fla.; two sisters, Mary Hartong and her husband Norman, and Rose Coanshock and her husband Frank, both of Whiting, NJ; three grandchildren, Kurt and his wife, Dawn, Karl and his wife, Rachel, Craig and his wife Cynthia, and six great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Emily, Gillian, Abigail, Tanner, and Jake.Her sister, Theresa, a brother, John, and a son-in-law, John Rock, died earlier. Services: Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. in the church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. The burial will be at the Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Perth Amboy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, Washington, NJ. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, Washington, NJ 07882.
