Obituary of Jack Lamia

Jack Lamia, 62, of Stewartsville, NJ passed away peacefully at Warren Hospital, on Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Born: On August 6, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, he was a son of Frances Laudicina and the late John Lamia. Personal: He lived in Stewartsville for 23 years, previously he lived in Piscataway. Jack was an accountant for Verizon Business, Piscataway, for 23 years retiring in 2009. Jack received his Bachelors degree from Rutgers University. He was a great fan of baseball and collected sports memorabilia. Memberships: He was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Washington, NJ, where he taught religious education. Survivors: His loving wife of 24 years Cathleen Pettengill Lamia; daughter, Arlene at home; mother, Frances Lamia; sisters, Frances Varon and Annette Koziarz, all of Long Island, NY; and sister, Joyce Orlando of Queens, NY. Services: Visitation will be Friday 3 to 7 p.m. at Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. The funeral will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph RC Church, 200 Carlton Avenue, Washington, NJ.
