Obituary of Peter M Dewalt
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Peter Dewalt of Plainfield Twp., PA, on December 12, 2024 in Atlantic City, NJ.
Peter was born on June 6, 1970 in Bethlehem, Pa to Mark Dewalt and the late Kathy (Reitz) Dentith.
Peter was the devoted husband of Dawn Dewalt and a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.
Peter's greatest joy was his family. To his kids and grandkids, he was more than a father and grandfather, he was their Poppa Pete, a guiding light, and a constant source of love and laughter.
A man of boundless energy and enthusiasm, Peter had a passion for life's thrills and simple pleasures. He loved watching Nascar and Sprint Car races, cheering for his favorite football team, hitting the golf course, and riding his Harley on the open road. His adventurous spirit and love for spending time with friends made him the life of any gathering.
Peter's zest for life, kindness, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends will forever be remembered. He leaves behind countless cherished memories and a legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.
Surviving in addition to his loving wife Dawn are his father Mark and wife Deborah; step-father Don Dentith; his children, Brendan, Brittany and Zaden Dewalt; step children, Desiree (Pedro Tapia) and Sabrina McNamara; grandchildren, Jaliyah, Kinslee and Raelynn; step brothers, Donnie and Chris Dentith: step sister, Emily (Jim) Reagle; Sisters-in-laws: Tina (Bob) Tichenor and Wendy (Lee) Witner and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ride free, Poppa Pete. Your adventures and love will live on in our hearts.
