Margaret "Joyce" Krukar, 86, of Washington, NJ, died Friday, May 11, 2007 in Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born: On February 21, 1921 in Liskeard, Cornwall, England, she was a daughter of the late William T. and Florence E. Smith. Personal: Her husband, Walter P., died in 1976. A 20 year resident of Washington, NJ, she had previously resided in Jersey City, NJ. Joyce was employed as a bookkeeper for F.W. Woolworth Corporate Office, New York City, for 20 years retiring in 1976. She was educated in England. Memberships: She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington. Joyce was former president of the Cosmopolitan Club, and organization of World War II War brides. She was also a former member of the Washington Friendship Club and Oxford Young at Heart Club. Survivors: She is survived by two children, Roger C. of Cateret and Janet R. La Jeunesse of Washington Township; three sisters, Beryl Weston of Gosport, Hants, England, Carol Bennett of Perth, West Australia and Cicely Runnalls of Liseard, Cornwall, England; two grandchildren, Christopher and Cynthia, and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers died earlier; William in 1944 and John W. G. in 2007. A sister, Doris Hargreaves, died in 2003.
