Francis "Lucky" Wahler April 12, 1929 - June 13, 2024 Francis Wahler, fondly known as "Lucky" passed away at the age of 95 at the Clover Rest Home in Columbia, NJ. Born in New Brunswick to the late Albert and Jennie (Lempfert) Wahler, Francis resided in East Brunswick for most of his life. He retired from Roadway Express as a truck driver. He served in the US Navy during World War 2 and was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 25 in Milltown, NJ, and was proud to serve as Chairman of Boys State for many years. Francis enjoyed gardening, fishing, and going to the casinos in Atlantic City. He also cherished time with family, friends, and neighbors. He is predeceased by his loving wife Elizabeth "Betty" Wahler as well as his siblings, Edith Robertson, Albert Wahler, Jennie Smith, Donald Wahler, Joan Howell and Flora Kurtanick. Surviving are his children, Frank Wahler and his wife Lisa of Bangor, Pa, Linda Masiello and her partner Larry of New Hope, Pa. and Kenneth Wahler of Ruxton, Md; his grandchildren, Kimberly, Ryan and Kate, as well as two siblings Roger Wahler and Kathleen Simons. Entombment will be held privately at Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum in North Brunswick. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Warren Hills Memorial Home.
