Obituary of Irene Ferraro-Sives

Irene Ferraro-Sives, 70, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024 at Northampton Post-Acute in Easton, PA Irene was born on May 9, 1953 in Brooklyn, NY. She was predeceased by her parents; her father Aurelio "Harry" Ferraro, her mother Michelina Malafronte (nee Radeschi) and her step-father, Victor Malafronte. She grew up in Brooklyn, graduated from St Brendan High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Brooklyn College. She was employed as a customer service representative for Republic Service in New Brunswick, NJ before retiring in 2017. Among her many talents, Irene was a brilliant and accomplished artist, poet and writer with many published poems and short-stories. Her most recent work is the novella; The Other Place in the Sea, published in 2019. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years Ronald Sives; her siblings, Rose Grzan (Anthony), Anthony Ferraro (June), Micheline Patalano (Michael), Victor Malafronte, Michael Malafronte (Diane), Robert Malafronte and Mauro Malafronte (Nancy); Irene is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday May 14, 2024 from 4:00 - 7:00 at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
