Obituary of Carole Ann Garrecht

Carole Ann Garrecht. 87, formerly of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024 at her home in Phillipsburg, NJ. Carole was born in Easton, PA on June 17, 1936 to the late Jacob and Katherine “Duyssen” Bungert. She graduated from Washington High School class of 1954. She was employed as an Information Services Manager for M&M Mars for more than 35 years. Her loving husband of 59 years Walter W. Garrecht passed away in 2013. Carole enjoyed watching Tennis and Ice Skating on the television. She liked gambling and seeing shows. She loved to travel around the world with family. She cherished time spent with her family, especially her great-grandchildren and grandchildren. Carole is survived by her children, Tamara Garrecht and husband Paul Clucas, Brent Garrecht and his wife Maureen; her siblings, Jake Bungert, Barbara Bigelow, Denise Haas and Karl Bungert; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Guarino and her husband Jeremy, William Nelson and his wife Ashley, Brandy Garrecht, Nicole Garrecht and Mickayla Garrecht. 11 great-grandchildren; Georgia, Stella, Priscilla and Viola Guarino, William and River Nelson, Isaiah Julmiste, Michael, Jayden, Bryson and Amiri Brazza. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday February 24, 2024 from 10-11 AM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Memorial Service celebrating Carole’s life will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment at Montana Mountain Cemetery will be held privately.
