Obituary of Wendy Erdie

Wendy L. Erdie, 64, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on September 27, 2023 at St Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Wendy was born on April 4, 1959 in Flemington, NJ to the late Nelson and Clela "Bloom" Trimmer Sr. She grew up in Washington, NJ and attended Warren Hills High School. Wendy was employed in Food Service for Hagedorn Hospital in Glen Gardner for many years before her retirement in 2012. She married her loving husband Mark Erdie in 2013. Wendy loved her cats. She enjoyed collecting rustic décor and antiques for her home. She also loved the fall and winter seasons along with mums, pumpkins and snowmen. She adored her family and cherished time spent with them, especially her grandson, Bradley. In addition to her husband Mark, Wendy is survived by her children, Joshua Trimmer & his wife Dayna, Rachel Benedek, Lindsay Gyorfi & her husband Chad; siblings, Randy Hampton, Clela Davie & her husband Bob, Carol DeMott & her husband David and Nelson Trimmer Jr.; many nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, Bradley and Riley Gyorfi and her cats, Toby, Bella, Dexter and Emma. Wendy was preceded in death by a sister Cindy Werner. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday October 3, 2023 from 2-4 PM and again from 7-9 PM at the Warren Hills Memorial Home. 234 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A funeral service celebrating Wendy's life will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
