Obituary of William D. Kinnaman

William D. Kinnaman, Sr., 63, passed away peacefully at Triumph Hospital in Easton on October 19, 2010. Born: November 20, 19 46 in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late William E. and Mayetta Kinnaman. Personal: He was a lifelong resident of Washington, NJ. Bill worked as a Corrections Officer for Mountain View Correctional Facility in Annandale, NJ for 26 years. Bill graduated from Washington High School, class of 1964. Bill served proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War. You could always find Bill at local yard sales looking for bargains. Bill loved all animals especially cats. Memberships: He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington. He was also a member of the VFW Post 5119 in Glen Gardner. Survivors: his loving wife, Alice; a son, William D. Kinnaman, Jr. of Easton; three daughters, Donna Lake of Washington, Virginia McDonnell of Washington and Bethany Lake of Easton; seven grandchildren, Chad, Paul, Drew, Michael, Mellissa, Kenny and Samantha; his pets, two cats, Scuffy and Mommy cat and Molly the dog. Services: Viewing will be on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Funeral services will be Monday, October 25, 2010 at 10 a.m. with Pastor William Noll officiating at the United Methodist Church, 116 East Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation will be private. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 669 Littleton Road, Parsippany, NJ 07054. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
