In the summer of 2007 Matt, Dad and I went fishing at Greenwood lake NJ. We had a great time and Dad caught this tiny little fish that we all laughed about.
My fondest memory is when I was about 9 years old and Dad bought me my first fishing rod and reel. We spent a wonderful day at Silas Condit Lake where he taught me to fish. I still have that reel that I cherish for all the fond memories.

My father was a simple and unassuming man. Apart from a few childhood memories, he wasn't really a part of my life. He loved to work with his hands and on his little farm. He was a kind man and helped me a little when I was going through a difficult time in my life. Generous with his time and always willing to help wherever he could.
I thank God for giving me the opportunity to be with him again before he passed away. Although he couldn't communicate very much his last few weeks, he would grip my hand tightly and smile a little as if to reassure me. It was hard to watch him suffer and feel helpless to do anything. I'm sorry Dad, but I hope that you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in your heart. I will carry with me the hope of seeing him in God's glorious kingdom some day.

My grandfather was kind, hard working, loved nature and animals. Though he lived far away I always knew I had a grandfather who loved me. I did ejoy getting his fruit boxes and wondered what kind of fruit it was lol. I had the honor of visiting his home once and seeing what two hands could build and admire that. I was so blessed to have him attend my wedding and meet his great grand daughter. I will always remember his scent and loved how well dressed he always was anywhere he went. Abuelo I will miss you dearly . Thank you for being my Abuelo and loving me.
