Obituary of Gladys G. DeFino

Gladys G. DeFino, 65, of Long Valley , NJ , passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in Triumph Hospital in Easton , Pa. Born: On October 3, 19 42 in Newark , NJ , she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Esther Siegel. Personal: Her loving husband, Ralph, died in 2005. She was raised in Newark , NJ and had previously lived in both Springfield and Irvington , NJ , before moving to Long Valley . She had resided in Long Valley for the last two years. She was a bookkeeper for Lewmar Paper Company in Newark and, later for Garden Homes in Short Hills , NJ , before retiring in 2005. She graduated from South Side High School , Class of 1960. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Survivors: She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Zignoli and her husband, Darrin, and Nicole DeFino, both of Washington, NJ; a brother and sister, William Siegel, and Sondra Simon, both of Florida; four grandchildren, Darrin, Taylor, Shannon, and Griffin; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Miller and her husband, Hank of Whippany, and Diane Farrel of Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews. Services: A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2p.m. in the Warren Hills Memorial Home, 234 West Washington Avenue , Washington , NJ 07882 . Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12 p.m. until the time of services in the funeral home.
